Patch 5.4 came out with some new features, tuning and naturally a new raiding tier called;
Siege of Orgrimmar
Basically the Warchief has gone Adolf on us and only wants the True Horde to fight by his side. (Naturally these Orcs all have blond hair and blue eyes). Clearly someone has to stop him, and on our shitty realm clearly that has to be us right?
Blizzard decided that 12 fights (13 if you count heroic) wasn't enough, so they made sure we got 14 fights this time around. Here is a quick run down of the fights and my/our opinion of them.
Viscidus meets a water elemental. Pretty okay first fight, kinda long though... But seriously easy.
The Fallen Protectors
Kill three dudes that do some kinda special every 33%, gotta kill em at the same time. Not that great a fight but also not terribad on normal atleast.
You fight some "Sha" and need to get into your personal little realms which are kinda like the Proving Grounds which they added aswell. Basically a single player raid type thing where you get to beat your own highscore and shit. Okay fight (I still need to do it but if Aswadd managed I'm pretty sure I'll ace that shit!)
Sha of Pride
Another corruption/pride type bar you can't let get to high. Which you do by avoiding stuff and taunt switching. Pretty cool Jail mechanic where you get people out by standing in specific locations on the ground. Pretty cool fight I think.
One of the hardest fights for us, most likely because we carried a lot of people here which didn't help. It's kinda like Hyjal Trash which ends in a boss fight. Which has some kinda Projectile you need to soak. We did it wrong and just brute forced it kinda... But fuck it, it died.
Giant mechanical Scropion, two phases, some silly mine mechanic stupidly easy fight really.
Kor'kron Dark Shaman
If you bring three tanks STUPIDLY EASY. Naturally we kinda made it into a giant cluster fuck. Oneshot is still a Oneshot though so what ever. Plus, I think it's nice and colourful
Basically Ravenne made into a raidboss, Avoid beeing an idiot and he dies. Clearly this took us a couple of wipes because we have a lot of idiots
Pretty okay fight, again a guy with rage. Soak some things otherwise the raid take mega pew pew damage. There is some tortos shield like thing aswell. Best thing is the fact he does three strikes with pretty decent time between them and then on the areas he did this strike he does an insta gib. So you need some memory, clearly this caused us atleast two wipes.
Spoils of Pandaria
No boss, just trash mobs. Kinda funny but really not hard when you get the hang of it and stop carrying undergeared people. Think it's a bit lackluster as a "boss fight" but that's me.
Thok the Bloodthirsty
Giant Dino, DPS check, pretty okay I gues but not _that_ great.
Robot where you as a Tank have to kill some Little Robot much like Firelands where we had to kill some Hatchling piece of shit. DPSers kill some weapon and decide which mechanics we have to deal with.
Paragons of the Klaxxi
You fight three bosses at a time, each with different abilities and in total there are 12 of them. Yeah boy! This will most likely be a cluster mother fuck on heroic. Pretty cool fight though, not as hard as some people on the internet made it out to be but was cool to do.
Final boss of the tier, read a lot of people whining and complaining about this fight but it honestly Is pretty good I thought. Few abilities and things you need to dodge/take care of and some transition phases, it's pretty cool.
