The final boss of this expansion has fallen to "Team
Kickassiest" (Mocking of Team 1 from Critical Mass which calls themselves "Team Kickass" intended!).
After spending a few weeks on Spine, and in my opinion too long on Madness due to people oversleeping or having other obligations the last two weeks, we reliably got to phase two on Thursday. After wiping on 2-3% five times from around 22:00 until 24:00 (we extended, yes I admit it!) we decided we'd have more people online on Sunday to witness our epeens. (Read: we decided to sleep since we have jobs).
Naturally Sunday and Monday turned out horrible, with more 2-3% wipes... I personally think I jinxed it since I wrote this news post on Friday, hihi!
We killed it on Thursday with a healer who only did 4 attempts before tonight, luckily he brings more cooldowns than our regular resto who apparently had to go to his boyfriend's birthday.

The fight requires you to do four platforms, incrementing in difficulty each time because one of the dragons decides to be a dick and stops helping you. For completion I should also note that Thrall is a useless cunt and should stop fingering his asshole during this encounter as well.
We quickly found that even if you execute it like you've had too little oxygen at birth the first two platforms are relatively easy (as long as Undertaker doesn't stand in melee or too far away to get targeted by impale!!)
We refer to the first two platforms as the fucking around phase, in general South Park imitations and the likes are heard here. From platform three onwards focus needs to be better due to the loss of the 20% hp buff (fucking dragon!). The fourth platform is by far the hardest since the bolt will hit and explode. Handle this properly and after the 10% nerf, making the cataclysm timer really wasn't an issue.
Phase two is over three minutes long, but feels more like a minute since there is no real downtime. Once you handle a specific aspect you instantly go to the next and onwards. (The rest of the fight is really boring in comparison to Platform 4 and Phase 2).
After working on our tactics some we settled on zerging the last 5% and just slowing the adds. It's down, server first (still not hard, especially not now that Flare has fallen appart and we recruited two of their core players.)

Obviously we couldn't have done this without the rest of the team, even though due to setup reasons they were benched for (most) of the Deathwing attempts! Except for Prøphet who apparently was there for 120 attempts

We thank you all for being a part of this tier and look forward to the challenges and fun the future holds for the Furious Gaming World of Warcraft branch!
On this note, we're going to be holding polls in the near future about our future: who stays, who goes etc etc. This means we might be opening up recruitment in the last weeks before MoP hits to fill a potential raiding roster.
Currently we're looking for a Healer, our preference goes towards a Resto Shaman Healer.
