News Overview
After a few interesting evenings at Kephess we've now killed the last boss on Denova 16man Hardmode.

I'd like to give a shout out to all the tanks that had to die multiple times each fight to make this happen! <3

Special thanks to Calendra for the awesome video!

See you guys on Nightmare! :)

Coming from massive online RPGs and Shooters this might seem a little odd, but seeing that a part of this group started off in a very similar game called Planetarion in 2001, playing Backyard Monsters feels a bit like coming home.

The Game Mechanics are simple, with a steep learning curve and very unfriendly towards casual players and beginners. The overall look and the fact that it can be played on Facebook should not make you believe that BYM is just another Farmville.

It's purely based around PvP, massive alliance wars and diplomacy, while the actual fights are very tactical. You can get attacked while being offline and everything you have can be taken or destroyed by other players. It's challenging and satisfying at the same time, having the opportunity to completely crush other players or groups is something I've missed for a while, and it certainly adds emotion to the game.

Furious is currently holding the #1 spot on the 'Amar server and we have only recently dropped to rank #2 on all servers after battling constantly for the past few weeks. Our group is about 100 members strong are we're fighting with and against 2.300.000 active users up to date. We're seeking to regain the top position as soon as possible though...

Stay tuned for updates!

Progression has started on the new operation in patch 1.2, Denova or Explosive Conflict as it is often called - we've cleared story modes and have now started on 16 man hardmodes.

We didn't have the best of luck with Bioware's patching process last week. Giving us 1.2 on Thursday (our second raid day of the week) and rolling back the Environment to pre-1.2 on Friday (our third and last raid day of the week) requiring an 8 hour maintenance smack in the middle of the evening.

The whole ordeal left us with barely 3 hours of practice on hardmode Zorn and Toth so we looked to storymodes on the weekend to get acquainted with all the bosses of the new operation.

In an effort to reduce Furious Gaming's contribution to Co2 emissions, we will be shutting off our server hosting the website, teamspeak and game-servers in periods throughout the week where those services see less use and therefore needlessly spending energy.

I have looked over usage statistics and our services are mostly used Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. That means we will be shutting off the server outside those high usage time periods, effectively reducing the server's monthly power consumption by 57%

It is my hope that in spite of reduced availability of our services that you will be able to cherish the opportunity to proclaim that our community is a green community! We are doing our part to prevent global warming and save those cute ice bear cubs!

After a way too long farm I finally got the legendary daggers, hurray for me!

What Pica wanted to say here is that it took him weeeeeeeeeeeeks and weeeeeeeeeeks of grinding stuff (25 man guilds do it in less than 50% the time olol!) he now has two glow in the dark dildoes.

He's currently very happy waving those things around! (Anyone that wants to remind him that MoP is coming and they're not even used to progress AT ALL feel free to do so!)

The final boss of this expansion has fallen to "Team Kickassiest" (Mocking of Team 1 from Critical Mass which calls themselves "Team Kickass" intended!).

After spending a few weeks on Spine, and in my opinion too long on Madness due to people oversleeping or having other obligations the last two weeks, we reliably got to phase two on Thursday. After wiping on 2-3% five times from around 22:00 until 24:00 (we extended, yes I admit it!) we decided we'd have more people online on Sunday to witness our epeens. (Read: we decided to sleep since we have jobs). ... Continued.
